September 2008 Gulf Coast Idol at Seville Quarter Gulf Coast Idol is returning to Seville Quarter. Singers will be judged on their vocal talent, stage presence, personality and audience response. Like the television show each performer will get a verbal critique by each of the judges – but none of our judges are "Simon". Each week three winners will advance to finals. The twelve finalists will each perform one song. The top six singers will sing a second song for the judges. The 2008 Gulf Coast Idol will get to record their own (2) song demo at the LuckyK Recording Studio and receive other prizes. Winner must provide their own music tracks. Second place and third place will win prizes. The contest is open to talented singers age 21 and up. Participants may bring their own music (on compact disk), pick from our selections or sing capella. There is no fee to enter the contest.
